What does dryer vent cleaning cost?

The short answer

One flat rate per visit for the whole vent run: Basic or Premium, plus an extra only where your home needs one. Every price is below and in the booking form, so you know the total before we arrive. Multi-unit and commercial work is quoted after a site visit.

Flat rates

One flat rate per visit, the same in every city we serve.

  • Basic

Full vent run cleaned end-to-end. Exterior cap cleaned. Lint trap and dryer port clean. Airflow measured before and after. Written report left with customer.

    $150

  • Premium

Everything in Basic, plus a deep clean inside the dryer: the bottom pan and around the motor, where lint slips past the trap. Bore-scope inspection of the full vent run.

    $250

Not sure which one you need? Book either one. We inspect your vent on site and recommend what fits your situation. No pressure, just a recommendation. Or take the 10-second quiz.

Extras, only where they apply: Transition Duct $50, Exterior Cover $150, Condo / High-Rise Surcharge $100.

Every visit includes:

  • The whole vent run, from the dryer to the exterior cap
  • The lint trap housing and the dryer exhaust port
  • Airflow measured before and after, with the dryer running
  • A written report before we leave

There is no charge for the length of the run, the number of bends, or the time it takes.

Basic or Premium: which one you need

Basic cleans the full vent run end to end, and the exterior cap. It fits most homes that are cleaned about once a year.

Premium adds a deep clean inside the dryer, the bottom pan and the area around the motor, where lint gets past the trap, and a bore-scope look along the full run. It fits a dryer that is slow, hot or overdue, or a vent nobody has cleaned in years.

Why one flat rate, and not by the foot

Many companies price a dryer vent cleaning by the foot, by the hour, or after an inspection fee, so the real number only shows up once someone is standing in your laundry room. We think that is backwards. A long roof run takes us longer than a short wall run, but planning for that is our job, not a surprise on your bill.

So the price you book is the price you pay for the cleaning. The only thing that can change it is an extra you agree to on the spot, like a new transition duct, and we show you why before we add it. If nothing needs replacing, nothing is added.

Extras, only where they apply

  • Transition duct. The short flexible piece behind the dryer. If yours is crushed, torn or thin foil, we replace it.
  • Exterior cover. A new outside vent cover when the old one is broken or has lost its flap.
  • Condo and high-rise surcharge. For a unit in a condo or high-rise building, for the extra time that parking, check-in and the elevator take.

We tell you before we add anything, and you can say no.

Multi-unit and commercial

Buildings, communities and businesses are quoted after a site visit, because the job depends on the property. Request a quote and tell us about it.

Questions about price

Is there a charge for a long vent?

No. The rate covers the whole run.

Is there a trip or inspection fee?

No. You pay for the cleaning you book and any extra you agree to.

Can I change from Basic to Premium on the day?

Yes. If the dryer itself needs the deep clean, we will say so, and you decide.
