Aeris Dryer Vent Cleaning LLC (“Aeris”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, request a quote, book a service, or communicate with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly and information collected automatically.

Information you provide:

  • Contact details such as your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Your service address and property details (unit counts, access notes, and similar).
  • Details about the service you request, appointment preferences, and any notes or messages you send us.
  • Payment information you provide to complete a transaction. Card payments are processed by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

Photographs of the work:

  • We photograph the work area, your dryer vent and the equipment we service, before and after the job. These images are how we show you the result, and they form part of the written report we leave with you.
  • We may also use these images to show our work, for example in before-and-after posts. We do not include your name, address, or anything else that identifies you or your home. If you would rather we did not use your photos this way, tell us and we will not.

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic usage and device data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, used to operate the site, prevent spam and abuse, and understand how visitors use it.
  • How you move through our pages, such as clicks, taps and scrolling, recorded so we can see what works and what gets in the way.
  • Marketing attribution data (for example, the referring link, campaign parameters, or the click identifier an ad platform adds to a link) when you arrive from an ad or a link.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, as described below.

How we use your information

  • Schedule, perform, and follow up on the services you request.
  • Send you appointment confirmations, reminders, on-the-way notices, service reports, and receipts.
  • Respond to your questions and provide customer support.
  • Process payments and maintain billing records.
  • Improve our website, services, and customer experience.
  • Measure which of our ads and marketing bring customers to us.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

SMS text messaging and consent

With your consent, Aeris Dryer Vent Cleaning LLC sends SMS text messages related to your service. This includes conversational and customer-care messages, appointment confirmations and reminders, on-the-way notices, service reports, receipts, and account notifications. You may provide consent by submitting a form on our website with your phone number, by giving it to us verbally, or by texting us first.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers. Vendors that help us operate: our payment processor, SMS and voice provider, email delivery provider, website hosting, the cloud database where our business records are stored, mapping and address lookup, and the bot-protection and rate-limiting services that screen our forms for spam. They may access your information only to perform work for us and must protect it.
  • Address lookup. Our quote and booking forms use Google to suggest and check addresses. What you type into the address field is sent to Google so it can return those suggestions, and our forms load Google map imagery for the property.
  • Advertising and analytics partners. We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to understand how visitors use our website and to measure which ads bring us customers. Their tools receive the pages you visit, your device and browser information, your IP address, and identifiers stored in cookies. When you book or request a quote, we also send them scrambled (hashed) copies of your email address, name and address so they can match that booking to an ad, and Meta’s tools may scramble and send the same details as you enter them in our forms. Their tools may also read general content on our pages, such as our services and prices. We never send them your phone number. They handle this information under their own privacy policies, and may use it to show you ads.
  • Session recording. We use Microsoft Clarity, together with Microsoft Advertising, to see how visitors use our website: where they click, how far they scroll, and recordings of their visits that show us what is confusing or broken. Clarity does this with first-party and third-party cookies. Everything you type into our forms, and the contact and address details our booking and quote forms show back to you, is hidden in your browser before anything is sent, so these recordings never include them. We use what Clarity collects to improve our website, for security and fraud prevention, and for advertising. Microsoft collects and uses this data, including to provide Microsoft Advertising, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, the public, or our business.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

No mobile information or SMS consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

  • Text messages. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance.
  • Email. Contact us at any time to stop reminder and follow-up emails. We will still send messages about a service you have booked, such as your confirmation, report, and receipt.
  • Photos. Tell us if you would rather we did not use photos from your job to show our work. This does not affect the photos in your own service report.
  • Access and correction. Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law.

Cookies and tracking

Our public website uses cookies and similar technologies to run, to protect our forms, to measure our advertising, and to see how visitors use it:

  • Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to count visits and see which pages are used.
  • Advertising measurement. Google Ads and the Meta Pixel set cookies (such as _gcl_au, _fbp and _fbc) so we can tell whether a visit or a booking came from one of our ads. When you arrive from one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, our website keeps Meta’s click identifier in the _fbc cookie for 90 days, so a booking made days later can still be matched to that ad.
  • Session recording. Microsoft Clarity sets cookies (such as _clck, kept for a year, and _clsk, kept for a day) to link the pages of one visit and to recognize a returning visitor, and Microsoft may set its own (such as MUID).
  • The bot-protection check on our quote and booking forms, which may set a cookie to confirm you are a person rather than an automated script.
  • When you arrive from an ad, a campaign link, a search engine or another website, we keep where you came from (the campaign details, the click identifier an ad platform adds to the link, and the site that sent you) in a cookie (last_touch) for 90 days, so we can tell how you found us if you book or ask for a quote later. A later visit from another ad, search or website replaces it. Typing our address or using a bookmark does not. During a visit we also keep the campaign details in your browser’s session storage, which clears when you close the tab.

These tools run only on our public pages. They do not run on the pages that show your booking, quote, invoice, statement, or service report.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may stop our forms from submitting. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, choose the ads Google shows you in My Ad Center, and choose how Meta uses this information in your Facebook ad preferences.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
