Both companies clean the vent that runs from your dryer to the outside of your home. The differences are in how the price is set, who does the work, what you get at the end, and what else each company will do to the vent.

How the price works

Our price is on our website before you book. Basic is $150 and cleans the full vent run, however long it is. Premium is $250: everything in Basic, plus a deep clean inside the dryer and a bore-scope inspection of the full run. A condo or high-rise vent adds $100, because those runs take longer to reach and clean.

Dryer Vent Wizard of Boca Raton doesn't list prices on its page, so you'll get a quote when you call or book. That isn't unusual. Many vent companies quote on site, and the price depends on what they find.

Whoever you call, ask what the price covers. Some low advertised prices cover only the first few feet of the run, and the rest is added once the technician is at your door. A flat price for the whole vent means the number you see is the number you pay.

Who does the work

Aeris is local and owner-operated. The person who books your visit is the person who shows up, cleans the vent and hands you the report. There are no subcontractors.

What you get at the end

Lint slips past the trap and settles in the bottom of the dryer, around the motor. Cleaning the vent does not reach it. Premium includes a deep clean of that area; Basic cleans the vent run only.

Dryer Vent Wizard lists delinting and lint screen cleaning among its cleaning services, along with booster fan cleaning and bathroom exhaust fans. Ask them which parts of the dryer itself they clean.

When Dryer Vent Wizard is the better call

If your vent needs rerouting, repair or a new install, call them. We don't do that work. We clean vents and dryers, and that's all we do.

They also list vent cover replacement, washing machine hoses, booster fans and bathroom exhaust fans, and their service area reaches further south than ours. If you need one of those, or you live outside our area, they're a sensible choice.

When Aeris is the better call

You want the price before you book, the airflow numbers in writing, and the owner on the job. Condo and high-rise vents included.
